Bank statement reconciliation software that reads every format
Banks send statements in a dozen shapes and ledgers export in a dozen more. BankReconciler reads them all into the same columns before matching, so you never retype or reformat a file.
- CSV
- XLSX
- OFX
- QFX
- QBO
- MT940
- CAMT.053

File sizes
The trial reconciliation accepts files up to 10 MB and 1,000 lines. Starter accepts 25 MB, Business 50 MB and Firm 100 MB per file. Scanned PDF statements are counted per month on each plan, see pricing.
How we make sure a file was read correctly
- The statement opening balance plus every movement must equal the closing balance
- Line counts and totals are shown before matching starts
- Columns that look unusual are shown for you to confirm
- Nothing is matched from a file that does not balance until you review it

Format questions
My bank is not listed. Will it work?
Yes. Formats are read by structure, not by bank name. If your bank exports PDF, CSV, OFX or one of the standard business formats, it works.
Do I need to convert my PDF statement to Excel first?
No. Upload the PDF directly next to your ledger export.
Can I upload a password protected PDF?
Remove the password first, then upload. Protected files cannot be read.
