The service

BankReconciler is a web application that reconciles bank and card statements against accounting records. It reads the files you upload, matches transactions, lists unmatched items and duplicates, suggests adjusting entries and produces reconciliation reports. The service is intended for businesses and accounting professionals.

Your account

• You need a valid email address and a password to create an account, confirmed with a code we send to that address.
• You keep your sign in details confidential and are responsible for activity under your account.
• You provide accurate information, including company details for invoices.
• Users you invite to your workspaces act under your account and these terms.

Trial reconciliation

Without an account you can run one reconciliation per day with partial results. After creating an account you can run one more trial reconciliation with a watermarked, partial report. The trial is offered once per account and is not a plan.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance, at the prices shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, which are added where required.
• Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
• Monthly limits on companies, accounts, transactions and scanned statements are part of each plan and reset at the start of each billing month.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in the billing panel. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law gives you a right to a refund.

Acceptable use

You may not upload files you have no right to process, use the service to break the law, attempt to access other accounts or our systems without permission, overload the service, or resell it without our written agreement.

Your data

You keep all rights to the files you upload and the results produced from them. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service. We process personal data in them according to the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.

Your responsibility for the books

BankReconciler supports your reconciliation work. Matches, suggested entries and reports should be reviewed by you or your accountant before they are recorded or relied on. The service does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes and termination

We may change these terms or the service. We notify account holders of material changes by email before they take effect. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the service provider has its registered office, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.
